BINGHAMTON, NY…The 57th running of the Sunoco Race of Champions is less than two weeks away and the bonus lap money and extra incentive list continues to grow. Currently over $22,000 in bonus lap money is already available. A special $500 bonus will be up for grabs to the top finishing True Value Modified Tour finishing team in the 200 lap special.

This year a minimal of 20 laps will pay a $500 bonus to the leader of those laps. Vic Hooker racing has posted this extra $10,000 in lap money. A minimum of $50 will be paid to each other lap with lap 68 awarding the leader a $1,000 bonus in memory of Alex Friesen.

Last years Sunoco Race of Champions Modified 200 winner earned over $17,000 for is efforts. His slim margin of victory over Matt Hirschman will certainly be one to remember.
